Chopped Jr.: Home Version Mystery Basket 2

Entree Basket:  Dandelion Greens, Vanilla Cookies, Gummy Jolly Ranchers, Sirloin Tip Steaks

Love this basket because it has my favorite ingredient:  BEEF! I need to get my steaks cooking so they have enough time to cook and rest. So I season them with garlic powder, a little bit of chili powder, salt, and pepper. Then, I get them on the grill! Next, I get started on my greens. I wilt my greens and kale in butter, garlic, salt and pepper.! Then, I check my steaks and they are grilled perfectly 145 degrees F! I take them off the grill and let them rest until plating. Then, I get the salad going again, and work on cutting up the veggies. Next, I make a vinaigrette  for my salad from the Jolly Ranchers. I cook them down and get a sauce like thing from it for my sweet element. I add a little bit of oil and vinegar into the vinaigrette. 5 minutes left!! I think I need to get my plates plated up! So then I put the steaks on the plates and get the salad on there and drizzle on the vinaigrette and then I realize that I haven’t used the vanilla cookies!! So I crush them into small pieces and using them as croutons for my salad. Then I hear 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0!! I think that my plate looks pretty good! Time to eat!
